Feline Behaviour SupportGrounded in Understanding

Helping people make sense of their cat's behaviour and build calmer, more predictable lives together.

My Philosophy

Cats are relatively new to sharing our homes, and many of the expectations we place on them conflict with their natural instincts. They are highly sensitive, instinct driven animals navigating environments that weren't designed with them in mind. When behaviour feels frustrating, disruptive, or confusing, it is almost always a signal; not defiance, stubbornness, or spite. My work begins with understanding what that behaviour is communicating and building routines and environments that feel stable, predictable, and sustainable for both cats and the people who live with them.

You’re in the right place if:

  • Your cat suddenly started peeing outside the litter box
  • Your cats fight or chase each other
  • Your cat seems anxious, restless, or destructive
  • Behaviour changes appeared after a move, new pet, or routine shift
  • You feel like you've tried everything and nothing is helping

Behaviour problems are rarely random. They usually make sense once we understand what your cat is responding to.

What I do

  • Help interpret common feline behaviour concerns
  • Support routine, environment, and training based changes
  • Offer nutrition informed guidance
  • Work alongside veterinarians when appropriate
  • Focus on prevention, understanding, and predictability

What I don’t

  • Diagnose medical conditions
  • Work with severe or dangerous aggression cases
  • Use punishment or aversive methods
  • Replace veterinary care
  • Promise quick or guaranteed outcomes

How Support Works

I look at your cat’s environment, routine, history, and current stressors.

You’ll understand why the behaviour is happening, not just what to stop.

Small, practical adjustments that fit your life and your cat’s needs.

You receive written summaries and clear next steps after sessions.

Not Sure Where to Start?

If you're feeling confused, overwhelmed, or unsure whether behaviour support is the right fit, you're welcome to reach out and describe what's going on.
