Information submitted through the contact form may include your name, email address, cat details, behavioural concern, how long the issue has been occurring, veterinary history related to the issue, and any additional message you choose to provide.
If account features are used, authentication-related account information may also be processed to allow sign-in and secure access.
How Information Is Used
Information is used to review inquiries, respond to consultation requests, assess whether behavioural support is appropriate, provide services, maintain basic client records, and operate website account features when available.
Submitted information is not used for advertising profiling or sold to third parties.
Contact Form & Email Processing
Inquiry submissions are sent to the Cat Behaviour Support inbox for review and reply.
The website uses Resend to deliver contact form submissions by email. Information included in your inquiry is processed only as needed to transmit that message.
Authentication & Account Services
The website uses Clerk to support sign-in and account creation. If you choose to use account features, Clerk may process authentication details and related session data in order to keep your account secure and available.
Browser Storage
The website stores limited information in local browser storage, including prompt and feedback state related to sign-in flow, so the site can remember whether certain account prompts have already been shown or dismissed.
Session storage may also be used to manage short-lived authentication feedback within the same browsing session.
Disclosure of Information
Information may be shared only with service providers needed to operate the website or deliver requested services, or where disclosure is required by law.
No information submitted through the site is intentionally sold to data brokers or advertisers.
Data Retention
Information is kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to inquiries, support consultation services, maintain internal records, and meet legal or operational obligations.
Your Choices
You may request an update or deletion of personal information previously submitted through the site by reaching out through the contact page or by emailing arianna@catbehaviour.ca.
If account access is active, you may also manage certain account details directly through the authentication provider.
